Anirudh Som

Anirudh Som is an Applied Machine Learning expert with over a decade of experience designing and deploying machine learning systems across healthcare, education, and human-machine interaction. Previously he served as an Advanced Computer Scientist at SRI where he led R&D efforts for high-impact programs funded by ARPA-H, DARPA, and the NSF, developing solutions in medical imaging, human behavior analysis, and large language models.

Anirudh combines strong technical depth with practical execution, holding multiple patents and has published extensively at leading AI venues such as CVPR, ACL, and ECCV. Anirudh earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, where he was advised by Dr. Pavan Turaga. He is passionate about translating cutting-edge research into real-world impact.
